Some chosen images are very personal snapshots of the familiar, others a play on popular coastal icons such as the Twelve Apostles that will be displayed on a revolving postcard stand. Of these she says: "I like the idea of presenting a piece of work that is labour intensive to produce as an inexpensive, almost throw away item. In reality, postcards often turn into long term fridge art." Time is the essence of this exhibition - time spent traveling, time spent both away from the familiar and rediscovering its potential, and, above all, time spent weaving her ideas into reality.” (Cresside Collette).
