FORUM CONFERENCES: ARE THEY FOR YOU?

ANNUAL/REGIONAL
Annual conferences are held twice a year, in autumn (Orange NSW) and in spring (the Geelong FORUM). These provide an opportunity for 250-300 likeminded people to gather including tutors, students and suppliers in a creatively challenged atmosphere that allows for in-depth learning along with a celebration of the full spectrum of the textile arts. Smaller regional FORUMS are held around the country in some years. The New wRAPT in ROCKY Regional FORUM replaces the Brisbane FORUM and will be held from 29 June - 5 July, 2007.ENROLMENTS ARE NOW OPEN - full descriptions of courses available here. - the coordinator is Nanette Balchin and she can be contacted on tel (07) 4939.3885 or email nanette.balchin@bigpond.com The venue will be Rockhampton Girls Grammar School which has excellent single room accommodation for all who request it - very reasonably priced. To get the latest update on all FORUMS see NEWS & EVENTS in the various states - any state hosting an upcoming FORUM will have that event as the first listing when you click on that state. You can then email Janet De Boer (tafta@iinet.net.au) to ask for the description of courses that remain open, and for an enrolment form - unless information is provided (for Regional FORUMs in particular) that directs you to a different contact person.
