Polyester Embroidery Threads

Isacord

Isalon - This 40wt thread was developed to replace 'Isafil' rayon. It comes on snap lock spools of 1200m and a good range of colours. It has a 'shinier' finish than Isacord to give an appearance of rayon.

Rainbows - This is a range of variegated polyester on 500yd spools. It is made with very short lengths of each colour to eliminate 'stripes' in your embroidery.

Jeans Stitch - This 30wt thread is used in a variety of applications, from decorating quilts to machine embroidery. It comes in 200yd spools.

YLI Metallics - A range of fine metallic threads of top quality in 500yd spools.

Superior Glitter - A range of metallics made in a 'ribbon' type of thread - with solid, hologram and variegated colours. 550yd spools.

Superior Halo - This is an acrylic/poly blend, intertwined with metallic fibers for unique embellishments. It comes on 550yd spools

Cotton Quilting Threads

Rasant - This machine quilting thread is a top quality cotton covered - poly core thread on 1000m cops. It has good strength from the poly core and produces supple seams due to the natural cotton cover. It also has good abrasion resistance, high light-fastness and washability. It comes in a large range of colours and the best choice for quilt construction.

Perfect Quilter - A range of solid and variegated 30wt mercerized cotton thread which creates a smooth, soft, touch and appearance. It comes on 300yd spools for those special parts of your quilt that you want to stand out and be noticed more.

Bottom Line

Bottom Line Pre-wound Bobbins - As with bottom line thread - but on 'L' type bobbins.

Rheingold (Made by Madiera) - This bobbinfil is a replacement for Madiera Burmillon - in 10,000m cones.

WASHING COLOURED EMBROIDERIES

                            Embroidered articles are best washed with mild detergent without any chemical admixtures at 60 degreesC.
       NEVER leave damp or wet embroideries pressed together. This applies especially to embroideries washed for the first time.
       Do not spin dry or wring them before rinsing thoroughly.
       Iron embroideries either on the reverse side or between two cloths.
       Do not use steam on metallic thread embroidery.
