She explores many different techniques, from making simple marks & drawings with wax, to dipping & painting with dyes, etching, cracking, discharging & more. The projects in this book are intended to provide a starting point from which you can develop your own ideas. You do not need to be good at drawing or painting to produce stunning results because the wax, dyes & fabrics do a lot of the work for you. Once you have understood the basic principle of wax & water resisting each other, you’ll quickly gain the confidence to develop the technique further.
